Why Do Candles Need To Cure?

Soy candles need two weeks to properly cure before use. This gives the scent the proper amount of time to bind to the wax so that you will have a consistent scent throw from start to finish. If you do not let the candle cure for the full amount of time you might not have the optimal scent the whole duration of the candle. I put tags in the candles that will let you know when the cure date has been reached. If you burn them before the date you may not have scent through the whole duration of the candle.

On the back side of the candle tag there is the date the candle was poured and created.
